How We Score

Our methodology for rating VR porn scenes.

Testing Setup

Every scene is tested on a Meta Quest 3 using HereSphere as the player. We download the highest available resolution (typically 8K) and test with default player settings to ensure a consistent baseline.

Scoring Categories

Each review scores the scene across five categories on a 0–10 scale:

Video Quality

Resolution, sharpness, compression artifacts, color accuracy, and how well the encode holds up on Quest 3's display.

Camera Work

IPD accuracy, scale (does the performer look life-sized?), framing, camera height, and how well the rig handles movement.

Audio

Spatial audio quality, positional accuracy, ambient sounds, and how natural the dialogue and reactions sound.

Lighting

How well the scene is lit for VR. Flat lighting, harsh shadows, and blown-out highlights all reduce this score.

Immersion

The overall sense of presence. Does it feel like you're actually there? This is the holistic "VR factor" that brings everything together.

Final Score

The final score is not a simple average of the categories. It's an editorial score that weighs immersion and video quality more heavily, since those matter most for the VR experience. A scene with perfect video but poor camera work will score lower than one that nails the basics across the board.

Score Ranges

  • 8.0+ — Excellent. A standout scene worth seeking out.
  • 6.0 – 7.9 — Good. Solid quality with some room for improvement.
  • 5.0 – 5.9 — Average. Watchable but nothing special.
  • Below 5.0 — Below average. Significant issues.
