A seven-performer VR holiday spectacular that won XBIZ's top VR prize
The Award
"Santa's Naughty List" won Best Sex Scene, Virtual Reality at the 2020 XBIZ Awards, giving WankzVR their second XBIZ VR win after "On Set With Riley Reid" in 2017. The scale of the cast and production made this a standout in the category.
The Scene
This is a holiday-themed group scene with seven performers, an ambitious undertaking in any format, but especially in VR where camera positioning, spatial audio, and performer blocking all become exponentially more complex with each additional person. WankzVR committed to a full-scale holiday production, complete with themed set design and a large ensemble cast. The result was one of the most technically ambitious VR scenes produced up to that point.
The Performers
The cast features Adria Rae, Gina Valentina, Alex Blake, Lexi Lore, Maya Bijou, and Taylor Blake alongside veteran male performer Tommy Gunn. It's a lineup that mixes established names with emerging talent, a strategy WankzVR has used effectively across their catalog. Gina Valentina was a particular draw, having built a significant following across multiple studios. Tommy Gunn's experience in VR (he also starred in "Zombie Slayers") made him a reliable anchor for complex group scenes.
The Studio
By 2020, WankzVR had established a pattern of themed, narrative-driven VR content that went beyond the format's basics. Holiday specials, horror parodies, and pop culture references became part of their brand identity. The studio was consistently among the most nominated in VR categories at both AVN and XBIZ, reflecting a sustained commitment to the format. We don't currently cover WankzVR with full reviews.
Why It Matters
"Santa's Naughty List" demonstrated that VR could handle large-scale group scenes without sacrificing immersion. At a time when most VR studios were still focused on one-on-one content, WankzVR proved that the format's ceiling was higher than the industry assumed. The XBIZ win validated this ambitious approach and encouraged other studios to experiment with larger casts.
