Couples Retreat (Hers)

VR Bangers takes a swing at female POV with this Valentine's Day couples scenario, and while the concept has merit, the execution struggles with the fundamental challenges of perspective. The 180° 4K footage is technically solid on Quest 3 (sharp enough detail and clean compression) but the camera positioning never quite solves the "where are my eyes?" problem that plagues female POV content.

Julie Kay delivers a committed performance as your hotel room partner Mike Mancini, but the intimacy feels oddly distant despite the close quarters. The audio captures her breathing and whispers clearly, though there's occasionally too much reverb from the hotel room acoustics. The lighting strikes a nice balance between romantic ambiance and visibility, avoiding the overly clinical studio look while maintaining enough illumination for the 4K cameras to do their work.

The biggest hurdle is immersion; female POV in VR still feels experimental rather than natural. When Mike goes down on you, the camera angle makes it feel like you're watching over someone's shoulder rather than experiencing it yourself. The handjob sequences work slightly better due to the hand positioning, but even then the perspective feels borrowed rather than owned. This is less about VR Bangers' execution and more about the current limitations of the format itself.

This is clearly aimed at female viewers or couples exploring VR together, and for that specific audience it might hit differently than it does for me. But as a pure VR experience, it feels more like an interesting proof-of-concept than a fully realized scene.
