thumb_up Pros
- + Enthusiastic newcomer performance
- + Unique outdoor forest setting
- + Generous 73-minute runtime
- + Natural body proportions work well in VR
thumb_down Cons
- − Inconsistent natural lighting creates exposure issues
- − Audio echo from outdoor acoustics
- − Compression artifacts visible during movement
- − Limited position variety due to location constraints
VR Bangers takes their "Open Borders" series to the Canadian wilderness with Isabelle Reese, and while the 73-minute runtime shows ambition, the outdoor setting creates more problems than it solves. The forest backdrop looks appealing in stills, but the 8K footage suffers from compression artifacts that become obvious during movement. Natural lighting proves inconsistent throughout the lengthy session, bright patches and shadows create exposure issues that the camera struggles to handle smoothly.
Isabelle brings genuine enthusiasm to her VR debut, and her curvy frame translates well to the close-quarters framing. The eye contact feels natural during intimate moments, though the outdoor acoustics create occasional echo issues that break immersion. Camera positioning works best during the cowgirl sequences where the natural lighting complements rather than fights the scene dynamics.
The extensive runtime becomes a double-edged sword. While you get plenty of content for your download, the pacing drags during transitions and the outdoor setting limits position variety compared to studio work. The nature sounds add atmosphere initially but become repetitive over an hour-plus runtime. On Quest 3, the image holds up reasonably well despite the compression, but this feels like a missed opportunity for VR Bangers' typically sharp technical execution.
Worth checking out if you're drawn to the outdoor concept and don't mind technical compromises for the novelty factor.
