VR Bangers attempts to wrangle four performers into their sorority initiation concept, but the execution feels like they forgot they were shooting in VR. The 8K remaster does deliver crisp visuals on Quest 3, skin textures are sharp and the patriotic decorations pop, but the camera work is all over the place. One moment you're watching from a reasonable distance, the next you're practically inside someone's armpit as the POV bounces between positions without warning.
The performers work hard to sell the concept, with Kenzie Reeves taking charge as the experienced sorority president while the newcomers Emily Blacc, Zoey Foxx, and Devon Green bring genuine energy to their "initiation." The chemistry between them feels natural, especially during the toy segments where they're genuinely having fun rather than just performing. However, the scale feels off throughout, some performers appear giant while others seem miniaturized depending on the camera height.
Audio quality is surprisingly clean for such a chaotic scene, with clear dialogue and natural breathing that doesn't get lost in the mix. The spatial audio actually helps track who's where during the more crowded moments. Unfortunately, the lighting shifts dramatically between the different "stations" of the initiation, creating jarring transitions that break immersion just when things get interesting.
At 52 minutes, this feels like three different scenes stitched together rather than one cohesive experience. The strap-on sequences work better than the group moments simply because the camera has fewer moving targets to track. Worth it for fans of group scenes who can overlook technical chaos, but VR Bangers has done much cleaner work elsewhere.
