VR Bangers swings big with this Cyberpunk 2077 parody, and the opening ten minutes genuinely nail the aesthetic. The neon-drenched set design and costume work are impressive. Sindal Xie and Sif Blvck look the part as cybernetic enhanced performers, complete with convincing makeup and wardrobe that actually feels like it belongs in Night City. The 8K capture is genuinely sharp on Quest 3, with rich color saturation that makes the cyberpunk lighting pop without crushing the blacks.
Where this 85-minute marathon starts to stumble is in the technical execution. The camera positioning works well during the opening sequences but becomes inconsistent as the action heats up. Audio has some echo issues in the larger set pieces, and there's occasional dialogue that sounds like it was recorded in post. The performers bring solid energy (Sif Blvck particularly shines with natural eye contact and believable chemistry) but the scene's ambition sometimes outpaces the production quality.
The threesome dynamics work better than expected, with good positioning that keeps both performers engaged throughout most positions. However, at nearly an hour and a half, this feels padded. The cyberpunk theming gets abandoned halfway through for fairly standard threesome fare, which wastes the elaborate setup. The scale feels right and immersion is decent when the audio cooperates, but those technical hiccups pull you out of Night City more often than they should.
Worth it for the strong opening aesthetics and solid 8K video quality, especially if you're into the Cyberpunk theme or Asian performers. Just don't expect the production polish to match the ambitious concept throughout the full runtime.
